Don’t go offtopic

My question: 1 full bottle mcd 100 is paid to manufactures

550 goes to tg state as tax

msrp 650

do you agree this as correct? If this is not correct what is the correct number?

answer should be simple and to the point

Manufacturer suggest a retail price, mcdowell is not a state label  but United breweries/diego(international) - it is available all across India under suggested price, you are suggesting that they just sell it for Rs 100/- and then state makes 700% tax on it. It is common sense and not rocket science.

manufacturers have a 20% margin with suggested msrp their price to make is roughly 50% of msrp and another 10-20% is brand marketing, staging and network operations. Making whiskey is a process, it takes more than Rs 100/- to make a bottle of cheap liquor in the current day

My question was about the tax on a bottle in tg state, why are you going off topic to other states?

to answer your question about other states, yes its cheaper in chattisgarh but leave it there and focus on tg state

That is how it works right ? That is how it has always been…

Breweries production cost Ki atleast 20-30 times higher rate ki retail price vuntadi, idemi kotha kadu. As long as breweries/distilleries directly sell liquor to State Corp, this is how it will be…

Unfortunately India la ae state lo kuda liquor direct sales levu..and the system has always been like this..

would you accept if chai is 500 and tax 50? They put cap on price and increased tax. Drink water its free or bottle is 10 rupees on platform. At the end its tax to govt

A commodity which is heavily state controlled like liquor bottle and a commodity which is freely available like a water bottle.

Renditiki compare cheyadam does not makes sense ani cheppa…anthe kani Nenu addagoli taxes vesthe accept chestha na ante depends on the need….liquor bottle mida vesthe I don’t mind endukante no option…store lo cool drink bottle mida ide rate esthe 10gey mani kobbarikaya kottukuni coconut tagutha…instead of questioning and wasting my time.
