muslims in India will stand with liberals/leftists against fascist scum. You can see that in every agitation today. Muslims protecting Chandrasekhar Azad is Koregaon for eg.

the hindus that do stand with liberals/leftists are mostly not religious, and in cases they are, they probably don't care about criticising Hindu gods. so there's no need to tip-toe around the question of religion when it comes to Hinduism.

so the answer is obvious.. liberals/leftists won't criticize Islam because muslims are their friends. religious muslims are on the side of leftists. religious Hindus who are shocked at comments on their religion are on the fascist side. simple.
