Accidentally last weekend I had an argument with one of our close relatives (who was/is ardent & non-Royal blood & breed fan of TDP).He was narrating one incident happened in 1983 soon after NTR assumed power. 

According to him, till NTR became CM of AP, Congress Govt at the center (you can read as Indira Gandhi) was throwing rice & other essential food stuff into the sea. NTR stopped that and distributed that to AP poor people for Rs.2 and sometime free.

I tried to convince him that after the Great Bengal famine of 1943, Indian Govt (in fact British Indian Govt) made a STRICT Policy that 20% of the total crop yield of the country be stored for Reserve purposes and keep that stock re-filling.. Its the same Policy thats continuing even today.

But Dramoji's brain wash is so strong that my relative still thinks NTR is a God.
