Owaisi Gets Political Shock In Bihar

If people remember -  for a very long time in the Telangana movement Owaisi did not support a separate Telangana - of course he had his own reasons - he claimed that in a separate Telangana BJP would strengthen which is detrimental to his own party.

Akbaruddin even declared that if Andhra people are worried about Telangana activists just write MIM on their house walls and no-one would dare touch them. 

There was a time when TRS called for a Telangana bandh and in an NDTV debate between Owaisi and KTR - Owaisi warned KTR that the old city Muslims returning back from Hajj cannot be stopped at the airport due to bandh - and I remember KTR had to adopt a soft stance.

But I remember one time KCR made fun of Owaisi and his party by saying "MIM partyaa - adi Paatha Basthi lo oka moola undey musti party" - haha KCR spared no one those days.

Back to the main issue - wherever MIM contests outside of Telangana they will only end up helping BJP because Hindu votes gets polarized in favor of BJP.

Is kaadu "was" - MIM was against the creation of Telangana back in the day - not now. 

Owaisi said although there is a TRS government he is the one who is in the driver's seat - so why would he be against Telangana now?  

Most of the TRS's own ministers find it difficult to get the appointment of the CM but Owaisi always gets a free entry into Pragathi Bhavan - ilanti situation lo Telangana ki against ga enduku untaadu - oka vela ippudu vunna - already Telangana vacchesindi - so the whole topic is moot.

Old city guys are always in favor of TG formation. They opposed formation at various times and supported statehood at various times. Just like TDP..

Cover drive uh ? Muslimeen we’re against the merger in Indian Union, then they were against the division of Hyd state and merging with Andhra. They were not a political party back then..

Yupe. I think mim even wrote letter to srikrishna commitee supporting united andhra pradesh. Worst case lo rayal tg

MIM actually has a Member of Parliament Imtiyaz Jaleel representing Aurangabad in Maharashtra.

MIM also won significant number of Municipal Corporation seats in Maharashtra.

They won 5 Assembly seats in Bihar of which 4 recently jumped ship.

Even in the home state of Modi - Gujarat - they made some impressive gains in the local municipal corporations.

They also won a few municipal corporation seats in Karnataka and for the first time recently also won a couple in Tamil Nadu.
