Direction by Speaker regarding use of languages other than Hindi/English

A member who wishes to speak in a language other than Hindi or English is required [under Direction 115 B(1)* by the Speaker] to give at least half-an-hour notice to the officer at the Table to enable the Interpreter concerned to take his seat in the Interpreters’ booth before the member speaks.

*Direction 11 5B (1) as added to the Directions by the Speaker, Lok Sabha in 1989 contained 12 languages. This number has now gone upto 14

they are spending huge money

ee batch ki TG accent lo matladalante App assembly lo half an hour notice, oka transaltor ni arrange chesukovali ante voorukuntara ?

EE self dignity leni MG batch @Android__Halwa is how india works. Another example - President guard allows only Rajput or Jat soldiers above 6 feet. When i said it - this batch was reading it passively - no feeling nothing. Suppose you say CM bodygaurds should only be kammas above 6 feet from KG area the naral thegi pothayi.

THis is how india really works - most of them katla gaada kukkalagga juttulu peekku kuntu kottukuntaar, delhi gaadu edhi chesina its ok. It continues form biritish times. Endhi ante - this is reality antaar.

mana teams lo ekkuva mandi Hindi or Telugu or Tamil unte, they sometimes speak in their language with no regard or concern to the other person who doesn’t understand the language…

majority of the members speak and understand Hindi in the parliament..
