It makes no sense to manufacture chips here and send them to taiwan, when taiwan already has the worlds largest chip making faciliity. eventually India will have a fab, but to speed it up first India needs a monstrous electronics engineering infrastructure. big design companies like Quanta, Wistron. Not body shops relying on cheap labour. Govt can try to disrupt this supply chain with targeted investments into electronics manufacturing instead of running behind big names that are trying to take advantage of the $60bn fund/tax benefit Indian govt has provided for semiconductor manufacturing. Jagan said he's different from Sandrabob and showing it with his acts.
