Googlie
6 hours ago, Swatkat said: If rumours doing rounds in the social media are really believable, the Enforcement Directorate authorities are getting ready to serve notices on Telangana Rashtra Samithi working president and state IT minister K T Rama Rao on the allegations of money laundering. According to these rumours, a complaint to the ED authorities was lodged by none other than industrialist Jupally Rameshwar Rao of My Home Group, who had been a close confident of TRS president and chief minster K Chandrasekhar Rao till recently. Rameshwara Rao’s relations with KCR had strained after the episode of Statue of Unity inauguration by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Chinna Jeeyar Swamy ashram at Muchintal on February 5 this year. Since then, KCR and his government have completely sidelined Rameshwar Rao and instead, have started encouraging another construction major Phoenix Group, whose promoter Suresh Chukkapalli is believed to be closer to KTR. Apparently, KCR is strongly believing that Rameshwar Rao had become closer to Bharatiya Janata Party leadership and particularly, Prime Minister Narendra Modi. At one stage, there was a talk that Rameshwar Rao might get Rajya Sabha nomination from either Andhra Pradesh or Uttar Pradesh. Against this backdrop, the reports in social media said Rameshwar Rao had recently lodged a complaint with the ED against KTR, Chukkapalli and some other friends of the TRS leadership about their alleged acts of money laundering. The complaint is learnt to have been registered with the ED’s Hyderabad office and in three or four days, there might be some development on this front. There could be raids on KTR’s industry friends or even on KTR’s office, these reports said. Jupally is not into government contracts, his land parcels are bought during YSR regime and his business is more in white than black. The only goodwill he enjoys is speedy infra creation around his projects. That guy won’t even accept cash transactions for buying a property in his projects. Jupally made $1 billion in 2007 when he sold a stake in maha cements to an Irish company Lol he is one of the main guy who provided funding to TRS pre-2014 … open heart with RK lo I won’t accept cash ani cheppadu adhe nijam anukuntunnava emi ? He does accept cash and gives discounts to own cassetteee people (that’s his personal bussiness anuko)… he got due benefits from TRS govt … even he was under IT radar
Piracy Raja
KCR begins giving shock to 'My Home' boss Nalgonda: The panchayat raj department has served notices on the My Home group asking it to stop works on the expansion of the fourth unit of its cement industry Maha Cement in Suryapet district. The My Home group is setting up fourth unit of its cement industry with a capacity of 1.75 metric tonnes per annum in 32 hectares of land at Mellacheruvu mandal in Suryapet district. All these days, the local authorities have been cooperating with the My Home group to construct the company but on Saturday, the panchayat raj authorities issued stop work notices on the company saying that the cement factory was being built without any permissions. The authorities have argued that the My Home group have taken up the construction of cement factory in 150 acres of Bhoodan movement lands, while My Home group said the factory is being built in 131 acres of land it had bought in the past. In fact, the dispute had been there since 2009 itself. The high court asked the government to take back the land from the company but the My Home group went in for an appeal. After the TRS came to power in 2014, Rameshwar Rao became closer to TRS president and chief minister K Chandrasekar Rao, who allowed the construction. Now that the relations between Rameshwar Rao and KCR have strained, the TRS government has reopened the file and stalled the works on cement factory.
