It’s the government, not a private limited company which earns the money and distributes among its shareholders as per their shareholding investments. TG needs steel, which we needs to get it from Jharkhand or Bengal and imagine if those states start charging exponentially more to give us the steel, do you know where Tg stands today ? We get steel for the same price as everyone else does. They can sell coal which is in huge demand to very high price but they sell at mandated rate. Imagine if every state behaves in sync with the arguement, every state will go down and not even one will be a net contributor. Its Government. People chip in money what we call as taxes to uplift its population.
