MLAs spend like 10-30+ cr in money distribution, liquor etc depending on the area during campaigning just to have a chance to win. Almost every MLA who bought a luxury car could have bought it without becoming an MLA or a minister.

That's the unfortunate reality bro. Its a money gamble. They can lose. They can win but their party might still lose and be in opposition. Next time ticket ey rakapovachu. So chance dorkute they will try to recover many times their investment amount. Even losing candidates ki income sources untai via % sharing from sand ramps etc.

Public, especially the lower classes who vote for sure expect money. Janasena got wrecked even in GodZilla because of that reason. YSRCP candidates paid 2000 rs, TDP ones paid 1000 and Janasena candidates initially gave 500 but once they realized they were not going to win and didn't want to take further loss, just gave a glass cup symbolically.
