In your father he got XY chromosome from your grand parents. Whereas your aunt has XX chromosomes. 

So in next generation you get Y from your father and X from your mother.  Your maradaluuu will get X from mother and another from her father. 

In a way it says we are genetically not similar anymore. But it makes no sense still. It should be forbidden even in India.
