Why Indians not into buying land & build homes in US ?

Getting approvals and building is much more expensive than what big builders offer … you will burn your hands

Tharvatha profit making happens once you sell it. In the mean time, many things can go wrong and desi people dont want to risk it.

THis will happen when indians start taking manual work ba - like roofing/basements/decks. THere are some indians doing it but really small. THose jobs need differen skills and a different orientation.

 It looks like initial capital is the key so only big players who already own businesses can enter this space. 

Also this cannot be done if you are doing other jobs and so fulltime commitment is important .

Land zoning etc need a big builder and some local politicians influence.. for ex: in most suburban locations, you need to lay roads or do some coffer developments to get permissions.

Small builders are blocked by big builders using their influence 

This is what I thought too..... aithe ikkada kuda we need influence to get all permissions haa so not easy we have only initial capital  🙄

Yes...

It's all in zoning and permissions...

By default zoning doesn't allow building homes...

And then, you need water, sewage, electricity, schools etc.. that's why only big builders rule 90% of the market.

Even if you have prime land of 10 acres, if the developer owns surrounding land they either try to buy yours at  lower price or ignore you and build around you.

I think further maintenance, warranties, etc. and first time kada, mana vallu pedhaga encourage chesinatlu ledu. Also heard MyHome is also entering Dallas area, ofcourse that is from anta.com though.
