Patio extension

Any one did this after they bought the house 

want to make patio with turf and extend the  existing patio and place some pergola 

 

any one did it as DIY project ?

Not possible ani kadu, you need to put lot of effort like pour concrete  buy pergola and install  that. And if you go with contractors you will.be charged around 12k to 15k

Lot of work.. this how its going to end: u will start the project and will try for cpl of months and you will give up to hire a contractor

Bro, Just one thing is curious to me .. from last 3 yrs you have moved 3 different states (NY, NC and Arkansas) correct me if am wrong . How did you manage with new place . Is that ok to move places with in a short period of time. How your family will adjust it??

DIY is waste unless you have real good experience building such stuff in the past ! 
Its not worth the hassle. Let the professionals do it. After all it is your house !

This is second move we stayed in one place for 6 years then moved to NC and from there came to Arkansas 

we know this is temporary move and our final move is back to an NC or Dallas

exactly, niku prior expi, unte better or it would be big mess. concrete and heavy beams are always risky thing. nuv okkadive DIY and interior ante chaltha vaa.

You just bought a house and you want to extend the patio and build a pergola on your own??? 
 

start with small things like replacing light bulbs, painting walls, etc.. and gain experience..
