If you have experience doing such things, it is good… installing a patio should be doable but not the flooring extension.. you have to bring a concrete mixer to do the concrete flooring.. I got the backyard flooring extension done and it is a big work.. and require multiple people and equipment

Yeah the concrete flooring is 2k dollars I already spoke to a contractor

I am thinking about adding pergola my self

also thought about doing concrete slabs instead with some design rocks and turf in between

I like doing one project for home

Pergola can be done.. if it is heavy wood one, it is difficult.. plastic type vastunnayi.. avi antha heavy undavu… you can handle them..

do you have friends who can help? You need at least one person to help you.. all these big DIY jobs need at least two people..

  • 1 year later...

Just wanted to jump in and say that I'm in the early stages of planning to expand my patio and transform my backyard into a little slice of paradise. The goal is to landscape the area, set up a barbecue spot, and maybe even create a cool rock garden with a small pond – a perfect place to unwind. I've already taken the plunge and purchased a set of garden furniture at  https://www.gardencentreshopping.co.uk/ to kickstart the project. Now, I'm starting to piece everything together to make it a beautiful space for relaxation, quality time with friends and family, and good vibes all around. I'm all ears for any advice or recommendations from those who've rocked their DIY projects because I want this space to be perfect.
