It is not as scenic as the East/North, it is not as cold as Chicago, It is not as hot as Arizona, It is not as spoiled as Dallas. You can still find homes in the 300/400K range. You have good schools where people don't form groups based on their caste or where they are from in India. Crime rate has gone up. Rents have increased.
