For a new born which is better .

Please share which is better and pros and cons of each based on your personal experiences.

OCI is better only drawback is if kid want to become president or enter any govt position they need to renounce OCI as US govt treats OCI holders as  other country passport holder.

You can’t compare both, one is for emergency travel other is for long term plan. If you don’t plan to visit every year then evisa is okay.

I’m not sure if OCI is also treated as a passport. Technically no endukante passport is the only document used to establish nationality and citizenship status. OCI is just a card/book which onmy India recognizes as an official document but no other country can use it as one..
