Cinema is representative of culture in modern times. Anyone with some flair for culture hopes to make it to cinema in a state like Ap and in most other places too where other industries such as music is relatively underdeveloped.

But what cutting edge financial work it is doing to pay people hundreds of thousands ? do you think they are more busy than financial professionals in other institutions ? And how are google recruiters so much different than others ?

the idly tower in Amaravati? or any of the lame Rajamouli inspired designs for Amaravati? how are they telugu in design?

There wont be any palaces or charminars or obscene temples like KCR is doing in Yadagiri gutta because we dont have kings any more.

Architecture will be economical and people centric. Hyderabad airport, hi tec city towers -2 , necklace road design, KBR park, shilparamam, ramoji film city would be the examples of greatest architecture in modern times that is functional but not so functional like a factory floor. it has some aesthetic elements.

what KCR is doing is just an extension of an existing temple.

architecture will be economical because precisely the mandate for a 'people' govt is not to spend on arts and culture, but for comfort and efficiency.

Ramoji film city is considered as great architecture now? or is it a cheap imitation of various things around the world? I don't know. I've never bothered to spend money to go inside rfc.

anyway we are talking of public projects.. not private ones. we'll include rfc when ramoji rao opens the city for public, and doesn't charge a bomb for a tour.

what use is the 'strong' state? other than to fill the pockets of those at the top of the social ladder?
