ivvanni   ... we try to figure out when buying home insurance as they ask you.

i doubt 90% of people ..all countries people will know   ..  generally they go by builder names..some people if they are not confident of build quality.. they take 3rd party inspection and send it to builder for fixes.

Carpet or wood floor doesnt really matter. For sure not a deal breaker. It doesnt cost a lot to chance.

most roofs don't last more than 10-15 yrs anyway, in between edo oka weather issues ki you get new roof, all you pay is home insurance deductible and get a new roof

yes kitchen lo tiles and living area of wood is considered good in terms of looks

vinyl is seap and it wont add value to home

getting all the things lined up is the key challenge, sarigga project mgmt leni project la tayaraitadi self home building

it is ok for building a cabin if you have purchased investment land, but not good thought on home building

Yes... Bad time to buy a new builder home... Both interest rate uncertainty and quality...

In down time, they don't reduce the prices but 

1. They construct slowly, so better chance of quality control

2. They give incentives for free upgrades.

If I were to buy a new home, I only care about structural quality and if I've a choice I'll go with basic , standard stuff they give. Instead of paying for builder upgrades, we can replace them for less .
