Anyway, I think this is also removed now with OCI and other benefits but I am not sure. If you have agricultural land on your name already … even you are GC holder or vomerican citizen no issue If you are a NRI or OCI holder you cannot buy any new agricultural lands. I remember as long as one hold indian passport can buy agricultural land.. After renouncing Indian citizenship one can't buy new agricultural land still approved to inherit land from parents..
