On eve of 75th year of India's independence...we should not forget contributions of two people.

1. M S Swaminathan for his ideas on the green revolution.

2. Varghese Kurien for his contribution to white revolution.

Many people will not realize but agriculture and daily together employs at least 40-45% of India's workforce and directly contributed for their livelihood.
