AP Education minister Botsa Satyanarayana commented controversially that teachers have no right to question the state government. Moreover Botsa challenged the teachers working in government schools to reveal the details of their children studying in private schools and institutions.

In an arrogant tone, Botsa added that the state government knows everything to run the schools and doesn’t need outsiders suggestions. Reforms have been undertaken to improve the quality of government schools and it will take considerable time to get the desired results. The government has focused on different issues like CBSE, teaching in English medium and digital classrooms. So in this matter, the teachers have no right to question the policy of state government, added the YCP minister.

How many teachers are admitting their children in government schools, questioned Botsa. But the state government is looking into the various issues raised by the teachers. He said that teachers and employees are an integral part of the government while parents of students are not objecting to the merger of schools. Expressing anger, Botsa opined that someone is conspiring and trying to block this policy.

Nearly 5600 schools have been mapped so far while 268 schools are away from this policy. Botsa’s comments against teachers are in bad taste and he might get into trouble for it (not now but in future).
