avoid south of chicago downtown anytime....prefer either north, west or right in the downtown area. ee summer entire US lo hotels are very expensive....last month niagara falls lo super 6 and super 8 motels were $350 - $400 on sat night..less than 100 kuda waste anukune places kuda very expensive. So chicago lo summer lone tourist's vastharu..u can expect that price

try Oak Park, IL....20mins away from downtown..little less expensive and safe area or go even further west of chicago (oakbrook, hinsdale, downers grove etc) all good suburbs but u need car to drive or take Uber/Metra etc.

car ante malli downtown lo parking is a hassle so my reco is, spend little extra and stay within the city and enjoy that experience

and summer lo every wed and sat nights Navy Pier lo fireworks untadi...Sat night aithe picha crowd, but u can watch it from multiple areas...check timings in google. Nights are pleasant within lake shore area...pick some food and either sit by Navy Pier itself and watch or Buckingham fountain nundi manchi view so sit there, eat and watch fireworks and back to hotel.

Sat nights pubs are super busy but very very attractive....ammailu sariga battalu kuda vesukoru...family ni room lo padukomani, u go alone and sit by any pub/bar....Rush st is famous for sports bar...multiple bars side by side and ppl do bar hopping
