Talented actor Rajkummar Rao and his wife Patralekhaa have purchased a three-story house in Juhu. He reportedly bought it from Janhvi Kapoor.

 

The luxury three-story house belonged to Janhvi Kapoor earlier and she purchased it in 2020 for nearly Rs. 39 cr. Rajkummar Rao bought it from her for Rs. 44 crores, reports say.

It is a luxury apartment on the 14th, 15th, and 16th floors in a building in Juhu-Vile Parle Development Scheme, and is spread over 3,456 sq. ft. It has six parking spots.

The deal was reportedly finalized on March 31, 2022, but the house was registered on July 21, 2022. Janhvi Kapoor and Rajkummar acted together in the movie Roohi. 

Yesteryear actress Kajol bought two flats in the same building earlier this year.

From my experience, bombay real estate is mostly white, they declare the stamp duty what they pay for, it is mostly because of the competition or affordable buyers, sellers want to deal as much as in white and there are buyers who can afford that to declare and pay as much in registration

Nah these people buy it in the name of a company and the loan expenses are written off as tax exemptions on earnings

Even their remuneration is not given in personal name , producers pays the company representing the actor .All of movie stars , sportsmen do this 

it makes a lot of sense if you look at the taxes on why cricket stars , movie stars keep purchasing expensive property

Even if his networth is less than 20 crores  , it's a good decision to buy it

Since he is in the top income bracket , he would be paying 35% tax on income every year , he could make that effectively 10-15 percent by taking loan at 10% interest 

He's saving atleast 20% on taxes and transferring it to a property which will keep appreciating every year 

My info is from a Mumbai origin coworker , this situation is extremely common in all stars who earn a lot of white money
