@hyperbole bro any idea just curious e roju pellinki pothey chusa

While travelling out of India, it is a wise idea to have the receipt of the gold jewellery bought in India in case customs officials ask while bringing it back into the country. US customs ayite $10000 varaku no fee, mostly everyone claim jewelry to be worth less than 10k. This time when I came back they did even give me custom form, CBP officer at POE asked if I am carrying any food but nothing related  to jewelry.

this time fiends who travelled planned some events in India and carried a lot of jewelry, they were flagged by Indian customs, allowance is 1 kg ornamental gold with 10% fee, for this you carry receipt to prove your are not importing but to attend some function. Still you may be at the discretion  of the officers since they can charge you 10% fee but most won’t since they empathize and trust you are visiting in good faith, the couple I know carried biscuits too and were made to pay 10% on biscuits
