Healthcare is still underdeveloped in India. Not saying healthcare is good in USA. But at least you will be taken care of in case of an emergency regardless of if you are able to pay or not. That will be taken care of afterwards. India lo if you do not pay upfront mee vaipu kooda choodaru. Plus lots of preferential treatment. Maa friend valla father serious condition lo join chesthe timely care ivvaledhu because at the same time a bada babu also had serious issues and they tended to him. He passed away unfortunately. Plus tier 2 cities lo you do not have all facilities. Delivery ki kooda complicate ayithe Hyd teesukellamanna case vinna recent ga. Chronic conditions ki non emergency surgeries ki India is heaven.

People justify their reasoning based on experiences and what they see , hear and read , so its all subjective

If you want to move back to India , you could list a lot of justifications , for someone else one of these justifications is the reason why they would not want to move to India

"I wonder everyday now on what I am doing here and dealing with this nonsense. Bloody house cleaning, dish cleaning, cloth cleaning, ironing, cooking, getting water on your own, grocery shopping, dropping/picking kid, AC fitting, making appointment with a bloody barber, appointment to see a doctor etc etc. It was all OK when I was 20. But at 40 this better be handled by someone who is 20 and I can just chill. There is only so much greenery one can enjoy while working as a maid all day long. My visa says skilled worker but I have turned it into maid visa. Worse part is you cannot tell anyone you are unhappy. They just laugh at you and say why did you leave."

hmm, don't agree with this thought , but physical fitness is important so may be that time can be better spent in taking long healthy walks with partner or grinding it in gym , 40 mins of activity , 4 times a week is enough , ee panulu anni lite

Definitely true. Everything is driven by personal experiences. It is a personal decision

Depends bro, health tourism is a thing in India. Try getting a specialist appointment in USA. Sometimes the wait time is more than 1 year.. India lo with relatively less money you can find decent and quick health care.  A root canal in USA is 2000$+, a root canal in India is 15 to 20k..

Less than 5% people use their insurance and most people don’t even go for free annual checkups covered by insurance they pay for. That’s how insurance business works - they take it from people who don’t use it and give it to those who do. In this balancing process, they make a ton of money. But everyone still buys insurance because it is an investment so as not to go bankrupt in the unfortunate event of getting in a serious accident or a health issue that results in emergency care and/or an expensive treatment plan that can result in poor credit or even bankruptcy.

as for dental insurance, if someone has dental issues they have have to get dental insurance way before the issues surface because there is years of waiting period and I guess there is waiting period in other countries too. Dental is also offered by employers for dirt cheap if you are a full time employee. Root canal does not cost $2000+ in the US if you have insurance. It costs 600-1400 without insurance and up to 600 with insurance.

if you are covered by insurance, you will not go bankrupt in the US due to health costs. I’ve seen many couples walking out of a hospital with a new born baby and the whole process did not cost them even a penny because they were fully covered by insurance. There are no free government hospitals in the US but can we conceive a baby in India at a private hospital for absolutely no cost fully covered by insurance?

In India, will you be treated for an emergency if you don’t pay upfront? Will the hospitals allow to take the dead body of our relative if we don’t pay up before picking up the body?

With growth and industrialization comes shortage of manual labor. 15 years back villages and towns lo you used to have a lot of manual labor. Now it is hard and they dictate the terms. In 20 years timeframe I expect the same in cities

Is he talking about living in US? If so, does he not have a washer dryer, dish washer, refrigerator, vacuum cleaner, rice cooker, etc? Or does he not have a wife?

Is he fetching water from a bore well walking 15 miles one way?? (generous RTT gammu Ravi can help with installing a bore well in his back yard for free from his YouTube income as per his promises to get more subscribers)

dropping picking up kid - it’s not his kid?

is he grocery shopping for his neighbor?

is he cooking for a stranger?

fitting AC? fitting what in a/c? Turning it on and off?

at least there are reliable systems in the US that always work consistently and as expected.

he sounds like a peasant and needs a kick in his lazy fat as$

The fact that a vast majority of Indians do not want to go back to India paints a pretty lucid picture. In the heart of our hearts we know that it all boils down to the differences between a first world country and a third world country.

Yes, it might hurt us but India is still in many respects a third world country and that is the harsh truth.

You really have to be at least upper middle class to live a decent standard of life in India.
