personally I think its very bad to read self help books. too many unscientific generalizations and proclamations about the human nature vaatilo.

best thing is to read whatever you lay your hands on, and go from there to whatever topic interests you.

I've not read most of the classics (or any of them, I guess), but I've read almost all sci fi books in the past 20yrs. except of the extreme fantasy variety.

Read that atomic habits and ikigai….my personal fav ….

agree these are just someone recommendation from his perspective…we should read wide variety…
