200% wrong info. As long as your original federal commitment is over $7500 you are eligible. Banda lekka lo if you make more than $55K you will owe $7500 to fed at the least. Year end lo file cheseappudu nee Fed liability is not what that means. If you owe 5000 - after ev credits you will get $2500. If you are supposed to get $2000 originally - after EV credits you will get $9500.00

No this is wrong.. Simple you get what you paid till $7500 in your returns. 

Only catch here is - If you have paid more than $7500 you get will get complete return. If you have paid only $5K as per W2 then you get only $5k. You cannot get credit more than what you paid as per W2.

Banda gurtu ani confuse chepaku bro. It all depends on there 401K contribution, medical, ssn and other deductions. They might file jointly and have kids too. Let them decide on prior year tax payments, I know many who earned more than $100K and didnt pay $7500 and might not get full credit on EV.

Any manufacturer that has vehicles assembled in North America and has reached their cap of 200,000 EV credits will not be eligible for the freshly named Clean Vehicle Credit this year. 

Tesla all models’ ev credits reached thier cap, Not eligible for federal incentives anymore..
