The final and qualifier were alloted to Ahmedabad as GT were last year champions. Now as per tradition another qualifier and eliminator would have been given to Jaipur as RR .

However CSK won in 2021 but couldn't host 2022 final due to covid issues . Hence they were given preference over RR . Hence they are hosting the qualifier and eliminator this season .
