Yes ..car shipping is done by brokers..

 

So brokers will call all trucks in that path..who ever agrees for low ..he will arrange with them..

I make sure it is one or two trucks with broker... Last time I used a truck that is f250 ford truck with trailer ..they towed me 1700 miles for 600$ because they are going empty that way anyway..

All these guys are transport network arrangers. There is no company that does end to end service afaik. All the people we call and pay are brokers who work with individual truckers as part of some network. IDK what exactly that thing is. IME it all depends on the truck driver and this so called broker cant do anything after the car has been picked up. I shipped 4 times and luckily all good experience only.
