Swatkat Posted August 27, 2022 Report Share Posted August 27, 2022 The Telangana political circles are abuzz with Tollywood hero Nithiin and former Indian woman cricketer Mithali Raj meeting BJP National President JP Nadda. Post meeting Nadda, both Mithali and Nithiin refused to talk to the media and that ignited more assumptions. Giving a clarity on Nithiin and Mithali meetings, BJP Rajya Sabha MP Laxman said that the two celebrities are attracted towards the BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. “Nithiin and Mithali are very much impressed with the work being done by PM Modi and they expressed their willingness to meet PM Modi. Our President Nadda asked me to make arrangements for a meeting with Modi,” said Laxman. The BJP leader added that Nadda had discussed politics with both Nithiin and Mithali. “When a national party leader meets an actor and a cricketer, it’s a familiar phenomenon that they discuss politics. Both Nithiin and Mithali expressed their interest to campaign for the BJP, whenever there is a necessity,” said Laxman. With 2023 Assembly polls in mind, the BJP is implying various strategies and wooing celebrities is one of them.
