Visa slot booking question

My passport is expiring in may and I’m trying to book a slot now whatever is available I’m giving my current passport number 

and my h one extension is Also in  progress 

my question is can we change the ds160 confirmation number and passport number when I reschedule and book the appointment

Yes, you can fill new DS160 and update it on ustraveldocs or take that newly submitted DS160 on day of interview

You can take the old passport and new passport and they will correct it in their system 

you can call customer care and double check
