People perception  buying east facing house is good . In fact all directions are good . There is something called entrance vastu , google it .

East and north houses result in bedroom and kitchen falling in correct spots. If you have west and south facing Houses then bedroom might fall in bad spot. Of course 2 story homes lo idi hard to manage. India lo mostly single stories kabatti they look at facing

Master bedroom should be in the southwest corner of the house for stability.

Veedhi Shula undakapote manchidi.

Land shape should be square or rectangle. Other don't work for most part.

Things I check :

• Your living room has sunlight in the morning 
• Natural light in all rooms if you open windows through out the day , good air flow
• not too sunny in the evenings to sit in your backyard and for kids to play
• cul de sac deggara aithe good as I consider it a little safer for kids to play
• not located in the T junction , avoiding Veedhi potu - My Reasoning to avoid such homes as it may not be safe for kids to play outside and lot of traffic in such places

Hyd lanti places lo apts meedha youtube lo chala videso pedtunnaru eemadhya , they all seem to be built on vaasthu and are advertised as vaastu complaint , some have good ventilation but chala homes lo basic light and air sarigga levu , felt sad 

Well said. This is what you have to look for when buying a house apart from neighborhood, schoolzone and commute to work !

Kitchen should be Agneyam Which is SE, Bedroom should be in SW

Agenyam belongs to fire god and cook face should face east or north

Im not vasthu guru. So can’t help answer those. But north or east wall ki kitchen undakoodadu antaru because of some north east or some corner issue. Most of homes have kitchen in back which causes this so they say to prefer north and east. Eesanyam which is north east shouldn’t have weight and prefers extension. All vasthu stuff have some reasons. Are they scientifically proven and are they still valid in new generations, I don’t know.

 

Peddavallu cheptharu night time nails cut cheyyakoodadu ani. It’s not bad if you do. But they say that because old times we didn’t have full lights and used to live under small lamps. Gollu cut chesthe avi akkade padatay. Chinna pillalu notlo pettesukuntarani. Now every home has flood light level lighting. In this generation it’s not necessary to follow it. But some do. Adi ala continue ayye alavatlu. So vasthu also same. Some might help and some are irrelevant. Anni perfect ga unna losses ostay. It’s just ups and downs in life. There is no up when you don’t go down.

I have same exact opinion. so always trying to find the reasoning behind those beliefs. and then we just need some common sense to follow them or not.
