Correction: we never know when cancer comes back. There is no such thing as “always”. Early detection is key. Breat cancer survival is more when detected early also hpv related tonsilitis cancer.

@teluguraja immunotherapy is the key most of tge pharma deni meedha working. I wish one day next 10 years lo cancer ki cure teskuravali.

This is the main prob....cases I heard from my closed relatives, one of them consulted hyd lo top cancer specialist, but still failed to detect early (ani memu anukuntunnamu - we still dont know), it started off like a small grain of tumor and within 4 - 5 yrs lo it went to stage 4 and eventually took life. All possible treatments from top hospitals lo try chesaru, no luck

another recent case, similar but this time 100% early detection...surgery tho uterus removed but within a yr malli detected....going through Chemo anta right now.

Dont know how accurate these Dr's are detecting or entha mundu detect chesina, cancer has a way to come back? no idea

it could be health issues...maa relatives (very closed and distant side) lo few ladies were diagnosed with cervical cancer and couple of them died in mid 40's too. This is becoming very common these days.....literally oka aava ginja size lo tumor tho start avthundi...surgery tho they can remove that tumor, but malli couple yrs lo it spreads and then they had to remove uterus....but cancer always comes back and then out of hands.

we never know why...so can't comment on such things...bayatiki chepparu until cancer is in 4th stage...so I'm guessing its something to do with health related

yup.. people just comment on they remived.. but they are taking big decision bcoz of some underling cause.  which cannot be told to everyone

do you know PET scan works? they inject radio active material into body with a dye and sugar. Cancer cells thrive on sugar and that area lits up on scanner.

PET scan is not a blood test to undergo so frequently. Its needed to determine the extent of cancer initially and if the patient is into remission after chemo/ radiation.

Cancer is a very tough disease to detect and treat. my family went through it and my brother is on Pharma research in same field for decades.

Cancer has thousands of reasons.. DNA issues , carcinogens in everyday life ( non stick, Teflon, Pesticides, plastic, Pollution, Heavy metals in water ) , no active life style, too much sugar and carbs in food.. there is no proper reason identified till date. anything can cause this bloody disease.

Please dont trivialize it with sex & hormones. DB lo doctor garu unnaru gaa ayanni lagandi thread lo ki..

Every day mana body lo 1000 of cancer cells form

avthaye but our immune system

identifies and kills them. When there is an imbalance oka cell cancerous ga marina it spreads. It could

be due to

many reasons e rojullo the food you eat things that you use every fkuimg thing is carcinogenic. You can never say what exactly caused it. Getting tested is the way.

bro, PET scan telusu antaav.. Cancer cells sugar pakkana petta mantaav... you are contradicting yourself

How does a PET-CT scan work?

Before your PET-CT scan, you will get an injection of a small amount of a radioactive sugar called fluorodeoxyglucose-18. This substance is sometimes called FGD-18, radioactive glucose, or a tracer. The cells in your body absorb sugar. Areas that use more energy pick up more of the sugar. Cancer cells tend to use more energy than healthy cells. The PET scan shows where the radioactive tracer is in your body.

The CT scan takes x-rays of your body from different angles. You might get a shot of dye before the x-rays. This helps some of the details show up better. Finally, a computer combines the PET and CT images. Your doctor gets a detailed 3-D result that shows anything abnormal, including tumors.
