What are the problems we face if we buy to stay in a Apartment in India?

If we have individual old house and if we sell house and the money we get is sufficient to buy only apartment...then is it ok to purchase...or people will think it's a kind of demotion...diwala teesadu etc...

It is all perspective,, nuvv ekkada apartment teskuntav ane dani batti.. if u are going to costly area if is not demotion.. there are advantages and disadvantages on both sides..

manchi community aite they have associatation and first problem solve chesi bill vestharu to owner! Akkada money matter kaadu anukunte u can go duplex apartments also.. 

Single home is single home,, you have your own space, own garden or whatever u want you can maintain/change and stay as u wish..

parents stay alone and they get old maid rakunte single home manage cheskovadam kastam had to clean outside and inside, if parents go out of country that home becomes target for robbery ! if no car parking space in single home had to keep on road. (Depends on house outer space).. kids had no play area

Finally nothing matters where you are,, think what you want and where you feel comfortable.

Apartments best for parents if they are living by themselves. Single home is dangerous for robberies with aged parents. Buy a nice one from trusted builder.

Correct. Depends on area. If you are buying good apartments in good area, the drainage/maintenance issues are non existent because people take care of their apartment.

Also, for parents living in India and kids in US, apartment is far far better in my opinion. There will always be neighbors who talk to them daily.

I also heard for people with small kids in India, big apartment complexes are better as in the evening all the kids come and play in the play area. And big apt complexes have basketball, swimming, tennis so akkade coaching koda ayyi potundi.

Again it all depends on what you want and what is more comfortable for your situation.

Single house is an individual property and apartment is a community. Edaina friendly neighborhood & daily meet ayyi 2-3 hours matladukunela unte single house is good. pros: colorful guntalu, apartment events like vinayaka chaviti sambaralu etc, less dongala bhayam

cons: noisy, no backyard, apt value depreciates over a period of time, monthly maintenance, apartment politics
