Nothing to be proud of...... its a shame we have not achieved double digit GDP growth for 5 years consistantly.

China had 10% plus GDP growth for 20 years straight...... 80's China and India have same GDP but they're now 5 times the size of India.

Chinese CCP laa India ni oka 25 years evadu anna rule cheste baaguntadi....... Anyone who fcks with system, demonize India and damage public property in the name of dharna and freedom. Jail lo esi kummi tengali regardless of race or religion.

It just takes one signature on paper to privatize a steel company in China where as in India, it took 20 years to sell a loss making airline…

GDP is more useful comparing national economies on the international market..doesn't accurately represent the personal income of people or living standards..

if there is any significant change in GINI(income distribution, wealth distribution) index,  human development index…then it will be a proud movement…

Oh, good. Emirates has govt backing but do you know what it took for Dubai Govt to keep it afloat ? Are you aware of what’s going on with Cathay pacific ? Japan airline once went bankrupt,  Lufthansa has to be bailed out by German Govt quite a few times and most recently too…IAG had to lobby with Govt to give them exemptions just to keep flying…

Are you aware of these things ? And more over, I’m trying to keep conversation beyond politics..Did you observe that ?

India needs to do that. Do you know how much per capital steel consumption in India and where it stands ? India’s no-1 export is urine ore…after 75 years we still export irons ore and get back finished products…Why do you think this is still happening ? Why does such things done happen in China ?

India kadhu, you pointed to China

Did China privatized steel companies ?

India is exporter of steel also. Not with comparison of China, India has fair share in steel exports. India exported steel during Beijing Olympics

Yes I aware. Even though airlines get bankrupt they will be bailed out. Nothing wrong in bailing out Air India

FYI, India exported iron ore, raw iron ore to China. India has also exported steel but with the kind of demand india has, we are supposed to be net importer of iron ore but we end up exporting the raw material to import the finished goods. Gaali janardhan reddy’s obulapuram mines was a major exporter of iron ore to China, Beijing Olympics steel demand was met partly by Indian raw ore.

Malli okasari saduvu, India la 20 years pattindi to privatize a loss making airline ani, intention was to point out the slow decision making process…

Nothing wrong in bailing out an airline but how many times do you do that ? One lakh crores were pumped to keep it flying ….isint it not enough ? Had we privatized it way back in early 2000’s, Govt would have had a stake in the airline and saved precious capital…

Why do you think British airlines was privatized ? What was once BOAC is now BA. Emirates which contributes to 13% of Dubai’s GDP, have invested monumental amounts in the airline. Do you think a PSU can get so much of loans to keep it afloat ? Majority of the airlines were govt owned 40-50 years back but very few does now, enduku antav?

So what when India economy was 130 lakh lakh crores, 1 lakh crores doesn't matter

If you want to bring profits there are several ways and Modi government never tried it

You could have made Air india to contribute to Indian economy there were zero attempts in regards that

Nee sollu kathalu cheppaku

Did china privatized steel companies ?

Did you know Vizag steel also increased their production in last couple of years ?

You should make state owned steel companies to increase the production, privatization is not symbol of quality of increasing production
