promotions are lacklustre oppukunta, but they are already promoting the movie in tamil nadu.

idhi telugu movie kaadhu ani marchipothu unnaru andaru.. as if they owe you something. istam untey soodu, lekunte maaney.

aa cinema flop aithey, inko pan-India sankalu guddukuney batch raakunda untadhi online.

asaley ippudu boojumouli gaadi fans tho sachipothunnam. malli maniratnam/tamil fans start chestey bhoomi thattukoledhu.

that book is a pageturning thriller drama. Nothing historical about it.

its written at the level of a 5th grade kid.

looks like it starts exactly where the book starts with.

that's why i'm disappointed with the movie.

its not playing around with the source material enough to give the audience something mind blowing.

maniratnam ki idhi oka cash grab anthey.. pretty sure he'll make a lot of money with this movie. even if only tamils end up watching it.

all i am curious is plot...and why it is famous...

i dont care how much budget and graphics are there...

i know its not historical...but want to see how they picture the social situations of those times...

Its pucca mass commercial masala movie.

social situations ni picture chesthu one day a tamil director will make it.. appudu chepta neeku. choodu..

there was a movie in the works about tanjore's big temple.. about the story of constructing it, from the pov of the people who worked in building the temple.. not the king raja raja chola.

unfortunately that director passed away in corona. His other movies are nothing short of amazing.

even yuganiki okkadu last 3rd of the movie had a more realistic portrayal of the cholas in hiding. I don't think any movie can come close to what Yuganiki Okkadu achieved in terms of storytelling of lost history.

ponniyin selvan, i only expected maniratnam's signature visuals. but even that is lacking in the trailer. It looks like a slightly improved version of bahubali, minus cringe vfx action scenes.

movie lo condense cheyyatamey biggest challenge.

there's no villain. if you have to consider someone as villain then this guy is the closest to a villain. but even he appears for a very little time in the book itself.
