Liger: లాస్ కాదు.. పూరి, ఛార్మీలకు కోట్లలో లాభం!

పూరి జగన్ (Puri Jagan), విజయ్ దేవరకొండ (Vijay Deverakonda) కాంబినేషన్‌లో వచ్చిన ‘లైగర్’ (Liger) చిత్రం భారీ ఫ్లాపైన విషయం తెలిసిందే. ఈ సినిమా మీద ఎవరు ఎంత పోగొట్టుకున్నారు అనే విషయంపై రోజుకో కథనం బయటకి వస్తోంది. ఈ సినిమాతో పూరి జగన్, ఛార్మీ ఏమి నష్టపోలేదని, వాళ్లకి డబ్బులు బాగానే వచ్చాయని, ఎవరికీ ఒక్క రూపాయి కూడా తిరిగి ఇవ్వలేదని చిత్ర పరిశ్రమలో అనుకుంటున్నారు. సినిమా బడ్జెట్ 50 నుండి 60 కోట్లు అయి ఉంటుందని, ఈ సినిమాని హిందీకి చెందిన అనిల్ తడానీ 90 కోట్లకు కొన్నాడని అనుకుంటున్నారు. ఈ సినిమాతో పూరీ, ఛార్మీ బాగానే వెనకేసుకున్నారనీ, వాళ్ళకి నష్టం ఏమి రాలేదని అంటున్నారు. అనిల్ తడానీ (Anil Thadani) కూడా మంచి వ్యాపారం చేసుకొని తన సొమ్ము రాబట్టుకున్నాడని కూడా అంటున్నారు. శాటిలైట్, ఓటిటి రైట్స్ కూడా భారీ మొత్తానికి అమ్మడంతో.. వారికి బాగానే డబ్బులు వచ్చాయని టాక్. సినిమాకి మరో నిర్మాతగా వ్యవహరించిన కరణ్ జోహార్‌ (Karan Johar)కి కూడా డబ్బులు పోలేదని అంటున్నారు. మరి వీళ్ళందరూ డబ్బులు చేసుకుంటే ఎవరికీ పోయినట్టు? డిస్ట్రిబ్యూటర్స్.. అవును ఈ సినిమాను కొన్న డిస్ట్రిబ్యూటర్స్ దారుణంగా నష్టపోయారు. అలాగే విజయ్ దేవరకొండకి కూడా ఇంకా కొంత రెమ్యూనరేషన్ ఇవ్వాలని.. ఇంకా ఇవ్వలేదని టాక్ నడుస్తుంది.

 

 

విజయ్‌కి మొదటి నుండీ ఈ సినిమా కచ్చితంగా విజయం సాధిస్తుందనే నమ్మకం ఉండటంతో పాటు.. తర్వాత మరో సినిమా కూడా ప్రకటించడంతో.. సినిమా విడుదలైన తర్వాత బ్యాలెన్స్ పారితోషికం తీసుకుంటానని చెప్పాడట. దీనికి పూరి జగన్, ఛార్మీ కౌర్ (Charmme Kaur) ఒకే అన్నారట. కానీ విడుదలైన తర్వాత.. ఇంకేముంది సినిమా పోయింది అన్నారు.. డబ్బులు పోయాయి అంటూ.. విజయ్‌కి ఇవ్వాల్సిన మిగతా పారితోషికం కూడా వారు ఇవ్వలేదని పరిశ్రమలో గుసగుసలు వినబడుతున్నాయి. మొత్తం పారితోషికంలో విజయ్‌కి కేవలం 25 శాతమే ఇచ్చారని.. ఇంకా రావాల్సినవి ఎప్పుడు ఇస్తారా.. అని విజయ్ కూడా ఎదురు చూస్తున్నట్లుగా టాక్. ఎందుకంటే ‘లైగర్’ రిజల్ట్ తర్వాత పూరితో విజయ్ చేయాల్సిన ‘JGM’ ఆగిపోయినట్లుగా తెలుస్తుంది. విజయ్ హైదరాబాద్‌లో వేరే దర్శకుడితో చేస్తున్న తదుపరి సినిమా షూటింగ్‌లో బిజీగా వున్నాడు. పూరి జగన్, ఛార్మీ డబ్బులు మిగుల్చుకొని.. ముంబై నుండి హైదరాబాద్‌కు మకాం మార్చి.. వేరే వాళ్ళతో ఏం సినిమా చేయాలా? అనే ప్లాన్‌లో ఉన్నట్లుగా ఇండస్ట్రీ వర్గాల్లో వినబడుతోంది.

Yes and no, Directors usually won’t show the final product until release  because actors demand reshoot or other nakras. Also when you are on disagreements it is difficult for the crew to promote it.

again this is anybody’s hunch, but usually actors are humans  too and they remain in that echo chamber if the director is hyping them up otherwise we won’t be seeing some high expectation flims flopping badly.

see from the actors perspective it can be assumed that lavish shooting stylish sequences and action sequences may make them feel them hyped up but if the emotional quotient is not  carried over in the strou then results will be bad, puri failed absolutely to execute the basic emotions in that movie, hero’s journey becoming national champion is what’s shown in the trailer, that’s absolutely pathetic which otherwise should have been rhe crux of the movie

I dont think so puri had same issues with ram for ismart shankar

ram didn’t join ismart shankar promotions until money mottam vachhe daka hit ayyindi kabatti ichharu money

Most of time movie team knows the cinema isn’t doing well when 50% of shoot is complete. But they can’t stop. They just proceed and try to pump up with promotions to get the best they can.

They simply wanted to encash the fame bought by south movies like bahubali and kgf in pan Indian level and tried to imitate the formula but failed to realize that they should have content too along with formula

They aren’t that foolish, they sold OTT and satellite to disney hotstar for 90 crores.

the offer they rejected was direct OTT release for a rumored 200 cr. Of course it is a loss but it was a calculated risk securing the invest via some other deal and then tried their luck with theatrical release
