antha avasaram ley. they should simply put more emphasis on urban planning.

more dense living. atleast 5-6 floor apartments and limit single homes as much as possible. make it to give out approval for plans to build multifloor houses, and market will do the rest.

stop widening roads, create local economies, destroy all those ugly flyovers, invest in public transport, encourage walking biking. charge a bomb for car parking, institute a license for cars that'll dissuade people from using it.

and put majority focus in a coordinated drain system that treats the entire city as one single catchment area, and for its maintenance . lake beds lo kattukunnantha maatraana everything is lost ani artham kaadhu.

oh yeah.. include metro travel in monthly pass issued by the transport body in Hyd. stop treating metro like its just for rich people.
