you missed Federer's greatest year by a whisker - 2004 :giggle:

ever since he met Nadal in 2005, Federer was not the same again. Fed's form in 2003-05 was scary. almost god level.

Because it was called weakest era in tennis..

Federe was never same once nadal in later half of 2000's and since DJ arrival from 2011..

lmao. it wasn't weak. Fed had good matchups against the players of that era.

Peak Fed can easily give Novak a run for his money... Nadal is a different monster. Tennis has never seen a player like Nadal. closest someone came to his playing style was 1994 french open finalist Alberto Berasategui.

Nadal does have his weak points too. Like how hard hitters can unsettle him but most of them weren't going deep into the draw to prevent Nadal winning that many slams - especially on hard courts.

unfortunately for Federer his worst match up - Nadal was constantly challenging him for titles. Given how much Nadal overpowers Federer, I'd say Fed did a decent job against him.

DJ killed both nadal and federe H2H.

To me DJ is most allround player with no weakness.

Nadal to a level yes he can come close to DJ.

Federe no way match to these 2 if we consider all 3 in prime.

Federe chokes at critical situations.

If match goes beyond 3rd set , I ll put all money on DJ or nadal than federer...

DJ played and won most DS during best decade of tennis in the history.

Against modern greats like federer,  Nadal,  Murray , warwanika

During federer 2002 to 2006...except nadal rest wont even cross quarters in 2010 era forget about winning grandslam.

Fed doesn't choke. He plays high risk shots and sometimes it pays off, and sometimes it doesn't.

It wasn't that era which is weak, but the Nadal, Djoker era that is weak. You can't even name 5 players that can defeat Nadal, Djoker regularly. you call that a strong era because couple guys were winning everything in sight?

If Murray was fit, then he would've denied both Nadal Djoker a lot of slams. Wawrinka way too inconsistent until much later in his career. DelPetro another giant killer missing a lot of slams with injuries. who else is a great in this era? there's none.

Fed started winning only from 2004, by which time Nadal was almost there. and Federer still won 20 slams. with a match up as bad as he had with Nadal.

peak Fed would've handled Djoker better. Or may be it was the courts, coz the courts were certainly  much faster then. His record against djoker is not as bad as it was against Nadal.

Joke of the year . Federe lost so many against DJ than nadal.

Federe lost most against nadal only in clay.

But DJ punched in every court ...

Especially on fed fav court grass...

Who was tough opponent for federer in 1st 5 years...in fact till 2010 apart from nadal.

Last 5 years back federer won 2 grand slams (2017). Infact he was lucky that he won those 2 in weak year where DJ was injured and Nadal just back from injury. If not those 2 not njured,  even in 2017 federer would not won those because he was in worst form before that.

And 2019 federer was Wimbledon  final.

So till 2019 the competition  was in peak.

Only last 2 years in which so called grand slam org jokers, banned dj in 4 grand slams,  still he broke federer record with left leg.

I don't understand why you are so worked up.

I just said that Fed has a bad match up against Nadal, and tht Djoker is not as bad a match up for Fed.

I didn't say Fed would be cleaning the courts with Djoker. Not as if Djoker's record against Federer is spotlessly amazing. He lost more than 20 games to Fed.

my point is Fed is comfortable playing against Djoker. He feels he has a chance to win. But against Nadal, Fed is simply throwing everything he has in the hope that something works. Fed is unsettled by Nadal. Not by Djoker.

what 'competition'? Name 5 players who can beat Djoker and Nadal on any given day in the last 10years.

Check how many matches fed lost against DJ and and against nadal.

80% of losses against nadal ll be in clay court.

fed lost 80% on grass courts against DJ which is his fav court.

So fedex is clearly more discomfortable against DJ than nadal.
