still bay area homes are not that expensive. compared to cities much denser that bay area. which is again an enigma.

bay area homes look like a steal in comparison. I don't understand this market.

I guess it's got to do with restrictive building codes, but I'm not sure.

its shows as low density because in its area - all the hilly areas are added. But only the population in housed area is calculated.

Even hyderabad is denser than core San Francisco ra babu. em maatladthunnavo ento.

an answer to this question in quora, invites all sorts of comments, but not a single one points to 'hilly areas' as a big detriment to increasing housing supply in the bay area.

one of the comments is crying about his dear town Redwood city destroyed by stack and pack developments.. he is referring to this

main-qimg-97a004fdd1a8b089202836e8feb92d

with assholes like this, no wonder not enough homes get built in the bay area. The guy, along with others of his age probably thinks he owns redwood city itself. what a moron crying on a perfectly good housing project.. I just wish it was a lot taller than that.

tax dabbulatho infra ye oorlo kadthaaru anna? infra investment is always backed by loans. nuvvu kooda chethilo $10m unte illu konesthaava full cash tho? only extremely rich people can do that.

plenty of people in san fran are displaced/suffering due to the high cost of housing. em cheddam antaav vaaallani.. can we simply shoot them and save money for the city?

either solve the housing problem, which is due to current home owners (not builders). or provide them some solace. tell me which is the easiest thing to do? even if the city has money, it has limits on how many homes it can allow to be built, and then approve of the infrastructure needed to serve the extra legs.

Its not true. bay area has more than enough land to house the entire US population within itself.

Ne question ki answer nuvve ichav anna..... that is the problem....

no city or council wants that problem to be solved, to ride on that wave to get federal funding and keep dispensing it for freebies.

edo name sake ki free land lo inti projects kosam proposa pedtaru... 1 year comments vini..environmental clearance and community backing ledu ani apesatru..

seeing it for last 4 years in our county.

CA govt passed a hard rule to reach some housing goals by 2030, if counties dont heed to it, then no funding to them.

also if community dont heed to that mandate, the builders have say to go ahead with the project, given the environmental clearance...

a clearance is the loop hole...

name sake bill pass chesindru..kaani loop hole pettindru....
