baahubali kante RRR is a million times better.

baahubali lo aa anushka costumes.. yuck. perantaaniki poye aunty laaga. daani smug navvu. chi thu.

RRR production values are much better, but it still suffers from the same excesses as in mouli movies. naa valla kaaley choodataaniki. but I can recognize purely from the quality of what I saw on screen that RRR is a huge improvement over bahubali.

he made money. but he has no respect among his peers.

anurag kashyap em cheppado choosko. he mocked RRR and oscars in one sentence.

so he now wants to buy respect with the money he made.

its a bit like rajnikanth. enni basha lu teesina entha hit ayna, he's not considered a great actor. so he gets desperate trying to rope in offbeat movie makers in the hope they'll give him atleast one classic he can command respect for.
