H4 visa appointment before marriage?

Hi friends,

Can we book H4 visa appointment slot before actual marriage ? Obviously, the in-person visa date should be after marriage and obtaining a marriage certificate and album etc. 

In this case, in DS 160, what should we fill marital status as - single or married at the time of booking slot ? 

Please advice.

Try to fill genuine info.. keep single

before two days of appointment date fill another new DS160 and update it in ustraveldocs or email support team that there were corrctions so filled new one.. I did the corrected Ds160 twice

u can book it as long as you are sure that you are going to get married……u cannot find slots right away and have to plan in advance. Also you can book a slot without completing your ds-160 and you can submit your ds160 filled 100% within 2 days of your appointment.
