Commercial movie industry is dying ?

The collections for all new releases that include “Aa Ammayi Gurinchi Meeku Cheppali”, “ Nenu Meeku Baga Kavalsina Vaadini”,  and “Saakini Daakini” are almost nil. None of these even recover expenses such as theater rentals.

On Saturday, dubbed movie “Life of Muthu” was released in select theaters. The film received appreciation but the collections remained on the lower side.

Sakini sakini is Suresh productions..they don't lose money because they own theaters and audience are forced to watch ... Now since even b and c center audience have jio free data and watching movies on their phones ..theaters are facing existential crisis

I think all movies have to create enough buzz with either the content or a controversy for people to go and watch in the theaters… even big stars are doing lot of publicity for their movies…

Even Acharya didn’t get decent openings because they didn’t do any publicity… there was no buzz created about the movie at all… forget about small movies…

just one week mundu press conferences pedithe chaladu..

Poeple are getting some awesome content through many soruces like Youtube,Netflix and prime.

subtitles tho language barrier kuda poyindi.

It is time for Shitty and weak stories to Die...

Only Good Story with gripping scenes will survive....A very good period for quality Audience.

Not just subtitles, now-a-days, even international movies are being dubbed to local languages..
