Ambati Rayudu has nothing to loose, he lost hopes in getting back to cricket.

Rayudu changed ranji teams frequently. He was from Andhra but later played for hyderabad and again shifted to andhra team. During Hyderabad-Andhra ranji match in 2006, Arjun Yadav (son of Shivlal Yadav) started abusing rayudu for jumping teams. Rayudu lost cool and showed his bat, while Arjun picked up stumps to attack !

Shivlal (useless spinner) was influencial in HCA and defended his son, while showcasing rayudu as indiscplined and rude.

Later rayudu shifted more teams and when he realized that his international debut will not happen because of people like shivlal, he saw ICL as a platform to showcase talent in early 2008. He was man of series in ICL.

BCCI immediately started IPL (after seeing success of ICL) and banned all those cricketers (even ex-cricketers like Kapil Dev) from being part of BCCI.

Couple of years later, BCCI offered amnesty to banned guys and Rayudu was back. It was Sachin Tendulkar, who backed rayudu and made him play for Mumbai Indians in IPL.

After his success in IPL, he was selected for Indian ODI team.

In 2017, Ambati Rayudu and Arjun Yadav met during Moin-ud-Dowla trophy and acted with dignity

This time, Arjun was coach and Ambati was captain of HCA XI.
