You can work for 179 days.... Longer than that your company has to pay taxes in India... Rule aite adi... Follow avatam antavu... sometimes they don't..

yeah Tax implications untai...I know ppl who were in India during covid times for an yr and worked for US company....POE lo or visa stamping/extn lo ekkada prob kaale...but maa company lone oka desi abbai ni 5 months tharuvatha temp. furlough laaga icharu, tax probs untai, so no pay until u come back to US...we will save ur job n position ani chepparu....eventually he came back after Delta wave and continued in my company...he is FTE guy
