I saw one of is interviews where he said, he still writes his scripts in English and he thinks in English. After he writes it, he translates it. I agree, I like the guy irrespective of whether I like a movie of his or not.

yes he does. Its very rare to catch him talking in tamil. and horrible to listen to, if you did.

Yea it is really phenomenal he thinks in english and talks in english but makes in tamil.

Bharadwaj Rangan speaks in Tamil to everyone except, GVN or Maniratnam.  But, I know what you mean. I liked his interview with Lokesh Kanagaraj and Fahad Fassil recently. BR is a good reviewer and he definitely knows his cinema, one of the very few cinema reviewers that actually do.

yes the fact that those unknown movies are made by same caste as "brangan" is totally irrelevant. he speaks in english after all.

his tamil is atrocious. I speak much better tamil than brangan.

BR is a great writer. but he's constantly attacked by dravidian assholes in TN with some weird fetish for 'samooga needhi'. idiots all of them. There's not a single writer among them who has the breadth of knowledge on films that brangan has.

his mild critique of Jai Bhim which was actually an unwatchable preachy movie was met with a lot of venom. Compared to many overt sanghi writers in TN in tamil media, brangan is mostly politically neutral. and still he gets a lot of hatred.

just as maniratnam does. but in case of maniratnam a lot of the hate is justified.

I don't think any sane telugu person considers bahubali as marvel.. things kalisochinay anthe.. nuvve daily unnecessarily hyping it up. I don't think anyone in this db considers bahubali even as pastime movie. I personally go for some old sreenu vaitla movies.
