Main gaa Scotch Whisky and expensive Vodka like GreyGoose theesukellu bhayya.

India lo chaala expensive avi. Glen family Scotches are low-cost and high quality.

Wrap them in clothes or air-bubbles. Thats enough. I take 2 in each check-in bag. Every time I take 7-8 bags when I go with family.

Only one time they asked at Hyd airport. I told them its family gift. They smiled and let-go off.

2 allowed if u buy in duty free, i think this is the actual rule ani nenu vinna...nuvvu bayata stores lo konnavi chelladu....db experts pls confirm.

regardless, usually customs vallu peddaga pattinchukoru whether u bought them outside store or in duty free stores...2 per passenger ki OK antaru.

leedhu baa, chaala saarlu UK to India pattukella. Every time 4 or 5 or 6 bags each containing 2 whiskies bought from Costco, UK.

Only one time questioned by Hyd Customs. I told them its gift for frens and relatives. They let me go.

That 2 bottles is for hand-baggage and in addition to check-in baggage. But if you have change-over at Delhi or Mumbai, they will ask to keep those 2 bottles inside check-in luggage (by this time you will have check-in bags in your hand).

As they are domestic from Mumbai/Delhi to Hyd, they will not let carry them freely.

Buy from online vendors.... They come with that packaging... Very secure. You save money as for us online is cheaper anyway
