i94 Expiry - Please advise

Hi DB Gurus ..

my wife's i94 is getting expired on March 6th 2023. When I moved to New Employer from my previous employer , New Employer  filed my H1B Transfer and was approved till 05/30/2024.

As we didn't file H4 for my wife when transferred to New Employer, she is having her previous H4 valid till March 6th 2024 and stamping till Dec 2023. But her i94 is expiring on March 6th 2023.

Now, how will this i94 be corrected in order for her to be in status after March 6th 2023 ?

1) Can she travel out of the country and show my latest approved i797 from New Employer at POE ? Will there be any issues as there was no H4 filed previously.
2) Is there a way we can do this by calling CBP and get it done in the US itself without going out of the country?
3) Is stamping needed ?

Please suggest.

Thanks in Advance.
