amazon may be, tesla is always high stakes gambling. but in general it's better to wait still we are nowhere near any certainty about the economy.

It wont be just EV for sure. They are exploring fuel cell as well as hybrid cars. Market will be bombarded with all types in near future.

Tesla is a good company right now. In future, if demand falls, its margins will evaporate over night and if that happens, it will have a whole lot of problems to address due to their business model.

 

Issues like

1) Tesla owns the entire process until the car is handed over to customer. In case of demand drop, they have to stop production and that will lead to a hell lot of problems like having a place to park the cars or reduce prices drastically. Both of these impact margins and if margin drop, stock valuation is at risk

2) Under recession scenario, they can't continue to honor commitment to suppliers, which will be another problem to solve.

 

 

As long as there is demand, they are golden. If demand falls, it can be an iron fist.

 

Look at AMD and NVDA for example. They are suffering demand problems now.

I think long term these should be decent 

I don’t think the inflation will go away 

we just have to adjust living to current level and salary will follow 

we are given another 4 % hike for market adjustment this week so I am assuming inflation won’t go down

Nvda and AMd has huge global demand bcoz of the chip shortage.. the damage to them was inflicted by the US govt by banning the. Chip sales to China…

Even for Tesla, the current sales numbers are very good, they are unable to keep up with the demand… but the demand might go Dow if there is a recession.. Musk already warned about it and started cutting down the employees and he is preparing for it..
