Relocating to Tennesse

Hello AFDB,  I am planning to relocate from PA to any state in US as me and my wife work remote. I think Tennesse best suits us as we are very outdoorsy people and also the state seems to have less overall tax burden. Anyone from Tennesse that can vouch for me?

What are the best counties to own a house around Nashville?

Crime in Tennessee bro

I know Memphis and Nashville downtowns are crime ridden but I doubt if it's a concern in outer suburbs like 40 miles away from Nashville.
