Relocating to Tennesse

Knoxville/Chattanooga has decent amount Indian population, not overcrowded. It snows for a week and rest is manageable (10-50 F). Close to Smoky Mountain national park and there a lot of other outdoor activities within drivable distance. Airport is okay with most of the connections from ATL(Delta) and Nashville (American). You have the budget airways (Allegiant) option is available from Knoxville. Downtown is great and mostly safe during any events. Lots of outdoor activities for kids.

Western part of Knoxville has good schools and less crime, where most Asian community lives, and houses are very expensive. But the schools are great.

There are quite a few companies for IT and core engineering jobs (ORNL, TVA, Pilot, Discovery, US Bank, Jtv, 21st Century Mortgage etc.) Let me know if you need any other information.

Go with Knoxville. It has good schools, close to smokies and overall good location. I have lived there for close to 4 years. Anyways its still too cold for my taste.
